Sanjiv Mehta, Chairman and Managing Director of Hindustan Unilever Limited described seven mantras for leaders to survive the toughest crisis and to remain effective in a chaotic and ambiguous world. Mehta at BT Mindrush 2021, with the theme Post-Pandemic Paradigm , argued that the year 2020 has made it clear that leaders must look beyond the organisation, taking a true stakeholder view to help address and not overlook economic, healthcare, justice, and other inequities that underline the fragility of the current problem .

Sebamed allowed to continue with ad comparing its soap with HUL s Dove, but not with Lux

Mumbai: Observing that an advertiser cannot use the right to free speech to disparage, belittle and/or malign the product of the competitor, the Bombay High Court on Tuesday prohibited German personal care company Sebamed from broadcasting its advertisement wherein it compared its cleansing soap with Rin detergent.
A bench of Justice Colabawalla, however, allowed the company to telecast its ads comparing it with Dove soap of the Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL). In a democratic economy, free flow of commercial information is indispensable. There cannot be honest and economical marketing to the public at large without they being educated by the information disseminated through advertisements, Justice Colabawalla observed.
Rs 4,687 Crore Allocated Under YSR Cheyutha, To Benefit 23 Lakh Minority Women Jan 17, 2021, 13:05 IST
AMARAVATI: As part of the YSR Cheyutha scheme launched by the Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, the State government has earmarked Rs 4,687 crore for this year as part of the scheme.
The YSR Cheyutha scheme launched last year on August 12 aims at equipping women of SC/ST/OBC/minority castes to create their own employment opportunity.
Through this scheme, financial assistance will be provided to women. The amount would be directly transferred to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries of the scheme as part of the DBT process.
