Law360 (July 8, 2021, 6:31 PM EDT) The first half of 2021 saw a number of multibillion-dollar mergers and acquisitions in the hospitality industry, including Hilton Grand Vacations Inc. s $3 billion purchase of Diamond Resorts International Inc., shepherded by Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP, Alston & Bird LLP, Foley & Lardner LLP and Paul Weiss Rifkind Wharton & Garrison LLP.
The first half saw three transactions north of the $1 billion mark, although deal flow slowed in the second quarter with most of the biggest deals of the first half announced over the first three months.
