Former Vice President Mike Pence stated that he and former President Donald Trump may never agree on the January 6 riots involving Trump supporters in Washington, DC.
“January 6 is a dark day in the history of the U.S. Capitol,” Pence said in a speech to a Republican group in New Hampshire on Thursday that New Hampshire is the site of future presidential candidates.
“You know, President Trump and I have talked many times since we left office. And I don’t know whether we will reach an agreement that day,” Pence said, because Congress requested an independent investigation, he played down the issue. Concerns about what happened on June 6.
