TAMPA, Fla. â With all the excitement as we approach this year s Super Bowl in Tampa, the Hillsborough County State Attorney and the Better Business Bureau are warning that scammers could be trying to take advantage of unsuspecting fans. They say this is especially true when it comes to trying to get tickets to the big game.
According to the Better Business Bureau, the key thing is to know the difference between a ticket broker, who is a legitimate and accredited reseller, and a ticket scalper, who is an unregulated and unlicensed ticket seller.

Travis Garrett, 28, will be prosecuted for first-degree premeditated murder of a law enforcement officer due to his actions which, police say, led to the death of LaVigne on Jan. 11.
LaVigne was one shift away from retirement when he was killed in the line of duty.
Hillsborough State Attorney Andrew Warren said on Friday that the evidence in the death of LaVigne overwhelmingly makes this a first-degree murder case.

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. (WWSB) - Charges have been filed against the man who intentionally crashed his car into the driver’s side of Master Corporal Brian LaVigne’s cruiser on January 11th.
According to the Hillsborough County State Attorney’s Office, Travis Garrett, 28, will be facing “the most serious charge in all of Florida law,” he will be prosecuted for first-degree premeditated murder of a law enforcement officer.
