HCSO investigating after man found dead in Westchase

It happened around 3 p.m. on Friday in the area of 9910 Sheldon Road.
According to HCSO, deputies found the man while responding to reports on a person down. Deputies say the man sustained trauma to his upper body and they believe this is an isolated incident.
Anyone who was in the area of Sheldon Road near West Linebaugh Avenue on Friday between 2 and 3:30 p.m. and saw anything suspicious is asked to call the Hillsborough County Sheriff s Office at (813) 247-8200.
The investigation is active and ongoing.

TAMPA â An injured man was found dead on Friday, and now Hillsborough deputies are seeking the publicâs help to figure out what happened.
Deputies were called about 3 p.m. to investigate a report that an injured person had been found near 9910 Sheldon Road in Westchase, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriffâs Office.
The injured person was a man who had suffered upper body trauma, deputies say. The agency did not release any other details about the case or release the name of the man who was found.

April 23 (UPI) Rapper Shock G, the frontman of group Digital Underground, has died at the age of 57.
Shock G, real name Gregory Edward Jacobs, was found dead in a hotel in Tampa, Fla., on Thursday.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff s Office confirmed his death to the New York Times.
Shock G s father Edward Racker confirmed his son s death to TMZ. A cause of death has not been announced. Racker says that an autopsy will be performed.
