PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Mahmood Khan spent the Eid with destitute children at the Zamong Kor Institute and also distributed gifts among them.
Minister for social welfare Hisham Inamullah and adviser to the chief minister on information Karan Bangash were also present, according to a statement issued here on Saturday.
Talking to mediapersons on the occasion, Mahmood Khan said children staying in the institute were not street children rather they were state children. He said the government would take utmost care of these children.
While greeting the nation on Eidul Fitr, the chief minister said it was a matter of immense pleasure for the whole nation that the Eid was celebrated the same day across the country.

PESHAWAR: Minister for Social Welfare Dr Hisham Inamullah said the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government had prioritised the empowerment of the poor and was taking steps to provide facilities to the homeless people.
He made these remarks during his visit to the Government Shelter Home at Pajaggi Road here.
The minister had iftar with the IDPs and travellers and distributed Eid gifts among them.
On the occasion, Shelter Home Programme Chairperson Neelam Toru was also present.
Hisham Inamullah said Prime Minister Imran Khan’s vision for the welfare of the homeless and poor was commendable.
KP to set up school for autistic kids, says Hisham

PESHAWAR: Minister for Social Welfare Dr. Hisham Inamullah Khan on Monday visited the house of the child suffering from autism, a mental disorder, and assured his parents of the treatment of their ailing son whose video had viral on social media recently.
An official handout said the minister met the child’s parents and announced that the kid, Ali Abbas, would be treated and the government would foot the charges of his treatment. He also promised to give job to the father of the sick child.
Dr. Hisham Inamullah, while reassuring the parents of the child, said that the KP government would take all possible steps for the treatment of their son. He said that Chief Minister Mahmood Khan himself wanted to meet the child and gave special instructions to leave no stone unturned in the treatment of the child.
