Yediyurappa, who will be presenting the State Budget for 2021–22 on Monday, is expected not to increase the taxes on fuel and other essential commodities. With a shortfall in revenue this year owing to COVID-19, however, the Budget is also unlikely to give relief to consumers by reducing taxes.
