A bipartisan group of mayors are calling on members of the U.S. Senate to take action on two pieces of gun violence prevention legislation.
In a letter sent from 152 mayors Wednesday, U.S. Senators are urged to consider H.R. 8, the Bipartisan Background Checks Act, and H.R. 1446, the Enhanced Background Checks Act. Both bills are meant to strengthen gun background checks.
