Henderson Co Sheriff s Office investigating boat theft

WBBJ TV May 27, 2021 HENDERSON COUNTY, Tenn. The Henderson County Sheriff’s office is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a person believed to have been involved in a boat theft. Investigators say the owner of the boat notified the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office on May 11 that a black Silverado truck with a green bed had taken the Bayliner boat from a home in Sardis. Investigators say the owner provided surveillance video showing the Chevrolet Silverado leaving the home with the boat. The boat is a white Bayliner with a blue stripe on the sides, and about 18-feet, 8-inches long. The boat has a walk-through windshield and has a 5.0 Mercruiser inboard engine, and a Finley’s Prop Shop sticker on the propeller of the motor, according to investigators.

Massive quartz cluster stolen from North Carolina gem mine sparks search, police say Bailey Aldridge, The News & Observer (Raleigh, N.C.) May 26 Police in Western North Carolina are on the hunt for a large quartz crystal cluster they say was stolen from a gem mine. The gem is believed to have been stolen from the Elijah Mountain Gem Mine in Hendersonville sometime between Friday and Saturday, according to a Facebook post from the Henderson County Sheriff s Office. Now, the sheriff s office is asking for the public s help finding the gem. Those with information are asked to call Detective Shalin Oza at 828-694-2789 or use the Submit A Tip feature on the department s mobile app.

Henderson County News: Green Meadows sweep results in 18 trafficking arrests

  Law officers from seven agencies joined drug task force members in the sweep of Operation WaveRider, which began after numerous complaints of drug trafficking and numerous overdose cases in Hendersonville and Henderson County. Detectives identified Kendall Angram as the supply source for various controlled substances associated with the overdoses and were able to identify numerous individuals associated with Angram’s drug trafficking organization. As a result of the search warrants executed late last week, detectives located and seized quantities of cocaine, heroin/fentanyl, methamphetamine, marijuana, MDMA/Ecstasy. Detectives also seized $12,000 in cash as well as seven firearms. Arrested and processed through the Henderson County Sheriffs Office’s Detention Facility were:
