HENDERSON, Ky (WFIE) - Deputies are investigating after a reported disturbance at the True Vine Plantation Inn.
Kentucky State Police and the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office responded to the disturbance just before 7 a.m. Saturday.
Authorities say they found 54-year-old James Bough Jr. standing outside in front of an apartment holding a handgun. A press release states the victim told police that he opened his door and saw Bough Jr. pointing the handgun at his door. That’s when police say the victim immediately shut the door and waited for law enforcement to arrive.

HARDIN COUNTY, Tenn. Special Agents with the Drug Investigation Division of the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, the Savannah Police Department, the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office, and the 24th Judicial District Drug Task Force led a multi-agency arrest roundup in Hardin and surrounding counties today (Wednesday) as part of a year-long drug investigation targeting the trafficking of methamphetamine and other illicit drugs. As a result, today (Wednesday) 35 people were taken into custody on a variety of drug-related charges.

A South Carolina man has been charged with burglary and larceny offenses in the Hawthorn Hills neighborhood last week.
Friday morning, patrol officers from the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a burglary in progress in the area of Hawthorn Hills subdivision on U.S. Highway 64 west.
While en route, the officers were notified of a stolen work truck from the same area, and the vehicle was spotted traveling east on U.S. 64 in the direction of Laurel Park, the Sheriff s Office said in a news release.
When officers attempted a traffic stop, the suspect jumped from the vehicle and fled on foot, according to the release.
