When the COVID-19 vaccine may be available in Brown County was still not known as of Monday morning. County Commissioners received an update on COVID-19 cases in Brown County from Lisa Dick with the Brownwood/Brown County Health Department.
“We’re hoping for a vaccine to be sooner than later. Right now, we don’t have a clear date on distribution of immunizations and I know that the state will be keeping us up-to-date on that,” Lisa said.
The Brownwood/Brown County Health Department has been working on a plan of how the vaccines will go out once they arrive locally.
