An SUV crashed into a home near 1000 East and 600 North northeast of Brownsburg Sunday morning just before 9:15 a.m. One person was taken to the hospital. The extent of their injuries was not shared by Brownsburg Fire at the scene. Authorities have not released the identity of the driver or what may have led to the crash. Brownsburg Teenager Dies After Shooting, Police Continue Search for Suspect

BROWNSBURG, Ind. A Brownsburg teenager who was shot while sitting inside a vehicle has died. The Hendricks County Sheriff’s Office says the 17-year-old was sitting in a Jeep with another person on Haag Road, in a subdivision northeast of Brownsburg, on Tuesday afternoon. Around 3 p.m., someone driving a black, four-door car pulled up next to the Jeep and fired several shots. Freddie Hegwood II was taken to a hospital but died Wednesday morning. The other person in the Jeep was not injured. Police are still looking for that black, four-door car possibly a Chevy Impala and are needing more information as the investigation continues.

(WISH) A Brownsburg teen has died following a Tuesday shooting. The Hendricks County Sheriff’s Office says the 17-year-old male victim was shot just after 3 p.m. in the 10200 block of Haag Road. That’s near North County Road 1000 East and East County Road 650 North. Investigators say the victim and another person were in a vehicle when someone in another vehicle opened fire. HCSO says a residence was shot as well. Investigators say the suspect vehicle is described as a black, four-door car, possibly a Chevy Impala with paint peeling off the roof.

Juvenile seriously hurt after shooting in Brownsburg neighborhood

Dec 16, 2020 / 06:42 AM EST BROWNSBURG, Ind. (WISH) A juvenile was seriously injured Tuesday in a shooting in a Brownsburg neighborhood. Deputies from the Hendricks County Sheriff’s Office were called to the 10200 block of Haag Road that’s a residential area near North County Road 1000 East and East County Road 650 North just after 3 p.m. for a person shot on Haag Road, Capt. Amanda Goings said at the scene. Two people were inside a vehicle when another vehicle approached and someone opened fire from that vehicle. A juvenile in the first vehicle was shot and taken to an Indianapolis hospital in serious condition, Goings said.
