KEWANEE Some area residents were able to register Monday for the Henry Stark County Health Department’s second drive-thru vaccine clinic before the server came crashing down, health officials confirmed.
Over 600 COVID-19 vaccine doses were available on a first-come, first-served basis, but the increase in traffic caused the website’s server to crash, leaving many residents out in the cold.
Site users were given a message that stated “temporary back-end unavailable. We are currently experiencing abnormally high traffic volume between our front-end and back-end servers, and working to restore all services as quickly as possible. Thank you for your patience.”
