Henry County watching spring weather forecasts to avoid repeat of recent flooding
Star Courier
As millions of dollars in repairs from recent floods along the Rock River flood plain continue to be made, emergency officials there already are looking to spring precipitation forecasts and hoping for the best.

As of right now, most of our planning is based on the spring hydraulic outlook, said Henry County Office of Emergency Management Director Mat Schnepple, and it s saying there are equal chances of moderate flooding.”
