Harlan recognized
Eva Harlan, a respite worker with Abilities Plus, recently celebrated 30 years of dedicated service with the agency.
Harlan started at the organization on April 15, 1991, as a developmental therapist with the Early Intervention Program, and became a respite worker in 2006. During this time she has made such a positive difference in the lives of so many local children and adults with delays and disabilities, said a press release from the organization. All at Abilities Plus would like to recognize and thank Eva for everything she has done the past 30 years for the organization and the individuals we serve.

The Henry County Health Department is hitting the road with their Covid-19 vaccine clinics over the next few weeks. This Thursday, the health department will be at Northwest State Community College for a vaccine clinic open to the public, for anyone 18 and older. That clinic will run from noon till 3pm this Thursday in the college atrium. You can walk-in for a vaccine, or make an appointment by calling 419-591-3010.Then the next stop will be St. John United Church of Christ near Holgate, along route 108 this Saturday. That clinic will start at 9:30am, and will be for those 16 and older. Anyone under 18 will need a parent or guardian present. Appointments can also be made for that vaccine clinic.
