FRAMINGHAM The state’s largest nurses union claims management at Framingham Union Hospital has threatened to fire any nurse on its staff who joins a picket line of striking nurses at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester.  Officials at MetroWest Medical Center, which includes Framingham Union and Leonard Morse Hospital in Natick, called the charge “preposterous. MetroWest Medical Center and St. Vincent are both owned by for-profit Tenet Healthcare Corporation in Dallas. “Tenet Healthcare Corporation will do anything to protect their profit margin,” said David Schildmeier, spokesman at the Massachusetts Nurses Association, speaking in regards to alleged threats against nurses at Framingham Union.
