Salida Police Chief Russ Johnson said Wednesday the department has been aware of threats against Eric Coomer, security director of Dominion Voting Systems, who has been under attack since before the November General Election.
Johnson said while there have been threats made against Coomer via social media and email, there have been âzero actual issuesâ in Salida.
Johnson said Salida Police Department is aware of everything going on and has put on extra patrols near Coomerâs Salida residence.
âWe have been dealing with this case for quite awhile and have been working with a task force out of Denver which is working with other federal agencies,â said Johnson.

DENVER â The Director of Product Strategy and Security at Dominion Voting Systems Inc, Eric Coomer, filed a lawsuit in Colorado against the Donald J. Trump for President, Inc organization for claims of defamation, civil conspiracy and intentional infliction of emotional distress.
âToday I have filed a lawsuit in Colorado in an effort to unwind as much of the damage as possible done to me, my family, my life, and my livelihood as a result of the numerous false public statements that I was somehow responsible for âriggingâ the 2020 presidential election,â Coomer said.
