A male employee has been injured after a bus tyre fell on him at a depot on the NSW Central Coast.
A NSW Ambulance spokesman said they were called around 7.20am on Thursday “to reports a bus had fallen onto a man”, aged in his 20s, at Empire Bay Drive in Kincumber.
However, a spokesman for the Westpac Rescue Helicopter later clarified a bus tyre had fallen on a man working at a bus depot.
The man was transported in the helicopter to John Hunter Hospital in a stable condition.
“NSW Ambulance paramedics and the Helicopter Critical Care Medical Team have treated the 26-year-old male for lower limb and pelvic injuries after the bus tyre he was changing fell on his lower body,” he said in a statement on Thursday.

A woman has been flown to the Gold Coast University Hospital after a horse fall.
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was tasked by New South Wales Ambulance at 12.30pm on Sunday, April 25, after reports of a person had been injured during a horse fall at Zara, 18Km west of Murwillumbah.
NSW Ambulance Paramedics and the Helicopter Critical Care Medical Team treated the 47 year-old female rider for possible internal injuries.
She was then airlifted direct to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition, for further observation and medical treatment. horse fall
