MLW issued the following press release on Friday regarding the July 10 event that will be with fans in attendance in Philadelphia,
Pennsylvania at 2300 Arena.
PHILADELPHIA MLW today announced its covid protocols for its return to the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia on Saturday July 10. The event will be a MLW TV taping. Limited tickets available at: www.MLW2300.com.
The health and wellbeing of fans, the athletes, staff, and crew are of the utmost importance to MLW and the 2300 Arena.

Just seconds before MLW concluded this week’s episode of
Fusion, the National Openweight Champion Alex Hammerstone held a press conference, where he called out the MLW World Heavyweight Champion Jacob Fatu for a match.
The Phoenix Powerhouse noted how he’s getting sick and tired of hearing the age-old question of who is the best champion in the company. Hammerstone thinks he and Fatu are on the same level, but there can only be one pure champion. He concluded his conference by saying the ball is in the Samoan Werewolf’s court on where this goes next.

MLW star Calvin Tankman was on a recent episode of
The Wrestling Inc. Daily.
During the interview, Wrestling Inc. Managing Editor Nick Hausman brought up MLW World Heavyweight Champion Jacob Fatu’s recent comments in which the CONTRA Unit member praised Tankman for moving inside the ring like a cruiserweight despite weighing over 300 lbs.
“It means a lot coming from a competitor, it means that he respects my game,” said Tankman. “It also means he’s not taking me lightly. I have to bring my A-game every time I step into the ring with him.”
Tankman also addressed critics who believe that big men shouldn’t move around like cruiserweights.
