have been fully vaccinated for the coronavirus as vaccine appointments continue to open across the state.
All New Jersey residents ages 16 and older are eligible for the vaccine. Individuals ages 16 and 17 must schedule an appointment to receive the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine, which is the only vaccine in the United States approved for ages 16 and older. The Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines are recommended for residents ages 18 and older.

NEW YORK, NY (April 29, 2021) - In a new resource for the scientific community, published today in
Nature Biotechnology, researchers in the lab of Neville Sanjana, PhD, at the New York Genome Center (NYGC) and New York University (NYU) developed CRISPR-sciATAC, a novel integrative genetic screening platform that jointly captures CRISPR gene perturbations and single-cell chromatin accessibility genome-wide. With this technology, they profile changes in genome organization and create a large-scale atlas of how loss of individual chromatin-altering enzymes impacts the human genome. HOLMDEL - Bayshore Medical Center is nearing completion on a $48 million expansion that will include a new emergency department where a nurse instead of a receptionist will see patients at the door.
The Dr. Robert H. Harris Emergency Care Center will have nearly three times more space than the current emergency department, along with more private rooms and imaging services. It now is the front doors to this hospital, said Frank Citara, chief hospital executive. We have to make sure that the care is appropriate, and the best care possible.
Bayshore has 172 in-patient beds and a staff of 700 full- and part-time employees. It is owned by Hackensack Meridian Health and serves northern Monmouth County.
