There is a lot of work happening around Albany this week, and because of that, there are several parking restrictions going into effect.
This includes several sections of downtown.
There are no parking signs posted, and police will be ticketing or towing drivers who ignore the rules.
The following restrictions will be in effect:
Beginning on Sunday, May 2nd at 7:00 a.m. until Wednesday, June 2nd at 5:00 p.m., parking will be restricted on the south side of Dana Avenue near 62 Dana Avenue for service vehicles.
Beginning on Monday, May 3rd at 7:00 a.m. until Tuesday, May 4th at 5:00 p.m., parking will be restricted on the west side of Jeanette Street from #20 Jeanette Street to Second Avenue for gas installation.
Monday, April 19
7:47 a.m. – Oconto man, 34, arrested by Oconto Falls Police after search warrant executed, 100 block of Scherer Avenue; charges of maintaining a drug trafficking place, possession with intent to deliver heroin, possession of THC-second offense and possession drug paraphernalia referred to district attorney.
12:27 p.m. – Sobieski woman, 24, arrested on probation warrant at jail.
12:37 p.m. – theft from storage unit, 700 block of Hansen Avenue; taken were two anchors, six life vests, a trolling motor, toolbox and tools, boat seat cushions, ski and tow ropes, golf clubs and fishing tackle.
2:50 p.m. Gillett man, 33 arrested on probation warrant at jail.
10:54 p.m. – Sturgeon Bay man, 35, arrested on probation warrant after traffic offense, U.S. 41 and Frog Pond Road, Oconto.

Suspect arrested for murder of man found badly beaten in SLC

SALT LAKE CITY â Police have arrested a suspect in connection with the death of a
SLCPD asked the public to help them find 42-year-old Nathaniel Joseph Kenyon Sunday morning, saying he was considered armed and dangerous.
They announced later Sunday afternoon that Kenyon had been found and arrested.
The victim s name has not been released. The cause of his death is under investigation, but police added that no firearms or shells were found at the scene.
