To be held at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC), the conference would deliberate on the topic ‘Expanding Growth Horizons in the new Normal’. “The summit will focus on the emerging opportunity landscape and the impact of the pandemic on mid and small enterprises,” HYSEA President, Bharani K Aroll, said. “In a changing global business atmosphere, there are newer ways of identifying and client acquisition. The summit will discuss these emerging ways of business development,” he said in a statement on Thursday.

No company told us that they are reducing the space or not renewing their lease agreements,” Bharani Kumar Aroll, President of Hyderabad Software Enterprises Association (HYSEA) told BusinessLine. Some of the IT SMEs did face the issue of cash flow initially. “But since the demand for IT and digitisation have gone up as the pandemic progressed, the situation has improved of late,” he said.

Representative image HYDERABAD: Move over English, coding in Telangana’s government schools will now be taught in Telugu, in a new move that could see scores of students queuing up to learn the programming language in their mother tongue. Authorities said with students who are not well-versed in English and shying away from learning this skill, it has been decided to start courses in Telugu to encourage youngsters. “As a pilot, we will start the programme in 50 schools in the coming academic year. Soon, it will be extended to all other schools in the district,” said Vijaya Kumari, district education officer (Medchal-Malkajgiri district) where the project will be kick-started.

Micron Technology and Tech Mahindra have received the awards in the category of ‘health and well-being’ initiatives. The awards were given away by badminton player Pullela Gopichand at a function organised at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC) on Thursday.
