CONTACT tracing is under way after it emerged a some people who have contracted coronavirus visited three pubs.
Earlier today the Ross-shire Journal reported how The Mallard in Station Square had voluntarily closed after it emerged a customer who yesterday tested positive for Covid-19 had visited on Friday evening.

Miller Academy Primary School, Thurso, has been closed early for the Christmas holidays due to two new positive cases of Covid-19.
The school, along with the Early Learning and Childcare, and the Scope child learning programme, was closed today (Monday) for pupils as a precautionary measure.
A Highland spokesperson said: âWe are aware of three positive cases of Covid-19 at Miller Academy Primary. NHS Highlandâs Health Protection Team (HPT) are investigating potential close contacts therefore we have made the decision to close the school as a precautionary measure.

Health teams are urging the public to remain vigilant over Christmas after an eighth case was confirmed of a coronavirus outbreak in the Highlands.
NHS Highland s Health Protection Team and Environmental Health were notified of an outbreak of Covid-19 affecting seven staff working as part of an entertainment group supporting activities at the Macdonald Aviemore Resort on Friday.

NHS Highland said seven cases of Covid-19 had been identified within the Macdonald Resort in Aviemore.
It said the cluster relates to a group of Christmas entertainers who were working in the resort over the last week.
