CarePoint Health, a leading New Jersey healthcare system, is thrilled to announce today that it will be fully in network with all major health insurers. The three hospitals, Hoboken University Medical Center, Christ Hospital and Bayonne Medical Center reached agreement with Aetna to join its network effective August 1, 2021. The Bayonne City Council has tabled two ordinances that would have condemned the Bayonne Medical Center property through eminent domain.
At it’s April meeting, the council introduced the two ordinances that would initiate eminent domain proceedings which began last year. In May, 2020, the Hudson County Board of Commissioners unanimously voted to approve three resolutions authorizing the Hudson County Improvement Authority (HCIA) to begin the process.

HOBOKEN, NJ A Hoboken man and a Jersey City woman escaped without injuries Thursday afternoon after their paddleboat was hit by a wave, forcing them into the Hudson River.
The Jersey City woman, 24, went out on a date with a Hoboken man, also 24, said Police Lt. Danilo Cabrera. They left from a small beach on the city s north waterfront, Maxwell Place Park Beach.
