No additional Huskies test positive for COVID-19, 1 recovers
DeKALB – NIU announced Monday no additional COVID-19 cases, according to the Campus COVID-19 Dashboard. As of Monday, no Huskies are currently COVID-19 positive and six have recovered.
Employees who aren’t vaccinated and work on campus in Housing and Residential Services, Campus Dining Services, the Child Development and Family Center, Human Resource Services and the Holmes Student Center are required to take a weekly surveillance test during the summer.
NIU administered 53 COVID-19 tests during the week of June 7 for surveillance testing. The positivity rate was 0%, with no recorded positive results, according to surveillance testing data.
