HOLYOKE Police seized a kilogram of cocaine and arrested a 42-year-old man after raiding his home and an auto repair and sales business following an investigation into suspected drug trafficking.
Abner Alejandro, 42, was arrested on Tuesday and charged with trafficking cocaine over 200 grams and conspiracy to violate drug laws. He is expected to be arraigned in Holyoke District Court Wednesday afternoon.

HOLYOKE – A 24-year-old Chicopee woman accused of threatening a clerk with a knife and robbing a store at the Holyoke Mall at Ingleside was arrested Wednesday after an investigation.
Christen Lesnewski was arrested on two warrants charging her with armed robbery while masked. She has been arraigned in Holyoke District Court, Capt. Matthew Moriarty said.
She is accused of brandishing a knife and demanding cash from a clerk at the Sunglass Hut. The robbery took place at about 12:30 p.m. on Feb. 24, he said.
