The driver of a northbound silver Honda Civic struck a blue Honda Accord involved in the minor crash, pushing the Accord into Reyes, police said. Reyes was pronounced dead at the scene.
A male was taken to R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center at the University of Maryland, and two males and a female were taken to Howard County General Hospital, police said. It s unclear if they were injured in the first crash or the second.
The driver of the Civic stayed at the scene.
Weather conditions may have been a factor in the crashes, police said.
Three lanes were closed to traffic during the investigation.

A 60-year-old Woodstock woman was pronounced dead at the scene of a fatal collision in Marriottsville on Tuesday night, Howard County police announced Wednesday morning.
