Friday afternoon shooting leaves one injured WILMINGTON A 26-year-old male is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries after being shot in the 3600 block of Metting Road on Friday afternoon. According to the Wilmington Police Department, officers were called to the scene and found the victim, who was transported to New Hanover Regional Medical Center by EMS. The investigation is ongoing.
