ASHLAND Be The People podcast host and award-winning political scientist Carol Swain will speak Wednesday, May 5, at 7 p.m. at the Hugo Young Theatre on the Ashland University campus.
The presentation, which is free and open to the public, is part of the University’s Faith and Society Lecture Series, sponsored by the Hilda E. Bretzlaff Foundation. COVID-19 protocols, including wearing face coverings inside of buildings and social distancing, will be observed.

ASHLAND - Thomas Reed, professor of music at Ashland University, will present a recital of clarinet and saxophone music Sunday, March 14 at 7:30 p.m. in the Hugo Young Theatre, 331 College Ave. He will perform with Susan Gregg, piano, and Jane Reed, violin.

The recital is free and open to the public. Seating will be limited to ensure social distancing, and audience members will be required to wear face coverings at all times.
The recital will include “Ballad” by George Gershwin, “Trio” by Aram Khachaturian, “Canzonetta” by Gabriel Pierne, “Les Folies d’Espagne” by Marin Marais, “Aeterna” by John Anthony Lennon and “Fantaisie” by Jean-Baptiste Singelee.
