Toiling endlessly, so the world doesn't starve. Those are our food heroes. XINYU DU China Every grain cultivated has its own mission that is being eaten by human kind. However, some of the grains made into meals are thrown into the trash because of people’s wasting. So, I designed this work named ‘a grain of rice under the X-ray scan’ by getting the inspiration from an ancient Chinese poem, which says“Who knows the food on the plate, every grain is hard”. I hope everyone will cherish the food and can see farmer uncle’s hard working through every grain. It is everyone’s duty to cherish food.
