Battle Of The Bands.
1st Heat Friday 15th September.
- continues each Friday night.
9:00pm start.
with 3 bands per night.

So you are in a band and you don’t know where to play....here is the answer! For all the amateur musicians out there finally an opportunity to showcase your talent.
When musicians are young or bands have recently formed, there are less places to perform, they may have a garage band or attend a Music/Performing Arts School or play around occasionally but just don’t get the chance to play to the general public on a regular basis.

The Battle Of The Bands @ the Beaches is seeking the next generation of musicians in Newcastle and surrounds, by giving them some great prizes to help make that happen! .

The Beaches has always supported & encouraged live music and is looking for some new bands to play regularly at the venue.
If you are in a band and are ready to perform live for 40 minutes then get your entry form in now! Bands will perform original songs but are allowed to perform up to 10 minutes of cover songs, if they don’t have a full set of originals but they need to specify this on their entry form.
If band members are under 18 years old, we can only have 1 band per night, they have to start at 9pm, leave the Venue by 10pm, be accompanied by a parent or guardian and the band must not currently represented by an agent, agency or known management.

Heats will be held every Friday night and we are hoping the 1st Heat will start on Friday 15th September at 9:00pm.

With $5000 worth of prizes up for grabs any band would hate to miss out; - $800 Cash, film clip, recording, regular performance @ the Beaches, photo shoot , Back Drop, Printing of some posters, business cards, Rehearsal time, Logo & Poster design, consultation with Big Apachee + a gig from the Agency, Hair Consultation (trim for photo shoot) and Style Consultation.
