The Plan:.

The expedition itinerary is 10 days and will take you all over the state of Sao Paulo..
We’ll have a Van waiting for you at the International airport which will be the beginning of our expedition..
The schedule will run 6 different rivers and also 2 days of ocean kayaking and snorkeling..
Exotic Brazilian kayak Tours goal is to teach you more about creek boating and also improve your BOOF skills..
What is a BOOF? .
BOOF is the main movement that a creek boater has to know..
Brazil will be the best place to do this because the characteristics of the rivers there require your BOOF stroke..

1ST Day:.
Meeting time at the International Airport of Guarulhos (GRU), Sao Paulo where we’ll be waiting for you..
We’ll drive one hour to our first little Town Juquitiba..
Our first night will be at the fantastic Blackberry Farm where we’ll have a traditional local dinner waiting for us..
At dinner we’ll talk about our trip, get to know your guides and set up camp..
Everyone will be tired from the flight so we will have a good night sleep and get ready for the next day (our first river trip at the Juquia river)..

2nd Day Juquia river.
The Juquia river will be our first river.
It will also be the easiest one and will be an awesome start for us to get to know each other more and see where each persons skill level is..
We ‘ll talk about strokes, expedition, safety, boof, first aid rescue and about the local area..
After paddling we’ll organize our stuff in the Van and go to our next destination, Rio do Peixe..

3nd Socorro Rio do Peixe.
.
Our 3rd day will be at the Rio do Peixe (fish river), which will be our first challenging river.
It has multiple class 3 and few class 4 raids.
We’ll run approximately 10 miles of the river where there will be easy river banks to scout the raids..
Our guides will tell you about each raid, and we’ll talk and practice, set up safety ropes and practice BOOF strokes..
Socorro is a wonderful little town in the middle of the mountains which you’ll be able to enjoy the river with fantastic landscapes..
After our river trip we’ll get ready to set up camp and go for a small tour around the little town..
We will talk about the day, strongest points and weakest points while we enjoy a wonderful local dinner.

4th Day:.
Extrema Jaguari River..
.
After traveling in the Van for 2 hours from Socorro we’ll arrive in Extrema city where we’ll go directly to the Jaguari River..
The Jaguari river is famous for its slides and clean raids.
A bit technical, the Jaguari river will be an awesome place to practice your boof skills though each river that we’ll be running is perfect for BOOF.
Minas Gerais is famous for the food so after the river we’ll have a traditional FEIJOADA lunch and also a small tour around the town.

5th Day: .
Brotas Rio Jacare Pepira:.
.
Brotas is a small town which is really famous for the amount of waterfalls.
It's the sport capital of the Nation..
The rio Jacare Pepira will have a creek characteristic with 11 miles of clean safe small drops.
We ‘ll run the fun class 3+ 4 raids with possibilities of seeing monkeys.
Is really wild forest with a lot kind of local birds everywhere..
After the river we’ll get ready to set up our camping on of the local camping, all camping that we’ll sleep will have a clean bathroom (no fancy places) with showers..
Our caipira dinner will be the best local food in this area provided by a local (caipira)..

6th Day:.
Sao Luiz do Paraitinga Paraibuna .
River.
Sao Luiz do Paraitinga is a small town close to the Atlantic Ocean on Sao Paulo coast.
Sao Luiz do Paraitinga has the population of 3000 people and is really famous about the carnival..
Paraibuna river will be special because will be our overnight trip we will sleep on the river..
We’ll put in at the river a bit late and paddle for couple hours into our camp spot which is in a little beach by a class 3+ drop where we can run few times during the evening and have a intense BOOF clinic..
We will have a support of a raft bringing the camp stuff and also our food..
The local guys will be cooking for us this night a local food and also we’ll have a fireplace with some live local music by the river..
Next day will be breakfast on the river and we will get ready to run the 2nd part of the river which is a fun class 3+.

7th Day:.
Atlantic beaches Ubatuba..
Ubatuba is a coast town on the most beautiful beaches in Sao Paulo state..
With our week kayaking hard we’ll have a chance to rest at several paradise beaches by the Ocean..
We also will have surf kayaks available for a short surf session which we 'll teach you surfing waves on the ocean..
This day we’ll sleep in the Sapo Hotel by the ocean with small rustic local Hotel..
By the Itamambuca beach we’ll take our morning surfing and resting on the beach..
Lunch time we will enjoy fresh local sea food and after we’ll go to the Felix beach which is one of the beautiful beaches for snorkeling, we’ll spend a few hours on the Ocean resting and we’ll go back to the Sapo Hotel (frog hotel)..

At dinner time we’ll have the slide show of the videos and pictures that we will have taken during the trip.
This will also be the last night together so while we are having dinner we’ll talk about what you have learned and the experiences everyone has had while on the trip..

The 8th will be the day that we’ll drop you at the airport and make sure that you got your flight safe..
