Detailed description is Equoterapia é um método terapêutico que utiliza o cavalo dentro de uma abordagem interdisciplinar nas áreas de saúde, educação e equitação.
O Centro de Equoterapia realiza atendimentos desde 2001 com pacientes particulares.
Em 2003 iniciamos o trabalho beneficiente e filantrópico com atendimentos dos pacientes de Mairiporã e Bom Jesus dos Perdões, que são cidades próximas ao Centro.
Com uma media de 40 atendimentos aos sábados, o trabalho foi ganhando forças e iniciamos os convênios com as prefeituras de Bom Jesus dos Perdões, Mairiporã, Francisco Morato e o mais atual, com Franco da Rocha..

Hoje o Centro conta com 15 animais, mantidos em cocheira, onde é feito um rodízio para não sobrecarregar os animais..

Hoje atendemos de segundas feiras e quartas feiras, 60 pacientes de Franco da Rocha das 8 as 17 hrs.

De quintas feiras, 15 pacientes da APAE de Mairiporã das 8 as 12 hrs..
De sextas feiras, 15 pacientes de B.
J.
dos Perdões das 8 as 12 hrs..
E aos sábados 10 pacientes de Mairiporã e 30 pacientes de Francisco Morato, das 9 as 14 hrs, totalizando 130 pacientes amparados por convênios.
