Detailed description is Fone-fax: (42) 3433-1360 / E-mail: ceepom@bol.com.br O Centro Estadual de Educação Profissional Olegário Macedo, assim denominado nos dias atuais, foi instituído no ano de 1935, com o nome de Escola de Trabalhadores Rurais Olegário Macedo, sendo regulamentada pelo Decreto 7.762 de 03 de dezembro de 1930, publicado no Diário Oficial do Estado em 13 de dezembro de 1938..
Na escola de Trabalhadores Rurais Olegário Macedo era ministrado o ensino de grau primário, com a duração de quatro anos, no qual estava inserido um preparo de ensino elementar rural de caráter prático.
Após o término dos quatro anos do curso, aos alunos que demonstravam aptidão para práticas rurais era concedida a transferência para a escola de Trabalhadores Rurais "Dr.
Carlos Cavalcanti" na cidade de Curitiba, onde os alunos freqüentariam o Curso Profissional de Trabalhadores Rurais, com a duração de três anos, aperfeiçoando seus conhecimentos adquiridos na escola..
Em 1967 passa a denominar-se Ginásio Agrícola Olegário Macedo, através da portaria nº 744/67 de 29 de setembro de 1967..
Em dezembro de 1981 formou-se a última turma do curso ginasial que estava sendo extinto gradativamente, tendo em vista a implantação do curso de 2º Grau..
Em 20 de dezembro de 1984, através da resolução nº 8.419/84, foi autorizado o funcionamento do Curso Complementação de Estudos em Agropecuária para egressos da habilitação Básica em Agropecuária, que teve sua última turma em 1989..
O curso de 2º Grau, com habilitação Técnico em Agropecuária formou a.
última turma em dezembro de 1998, o curso foi sendo gradativamente extinto de acordo com as novas leis de Diretrizes e Bases da Educação, para dar lugar ao Ensino Pós - Médio, que teve suas primeiras turmas em fevereiro de 1999, com base na Resolução nº 1.440/00 da Secretaria de Estado da Educação e do Parecer nº 101/00 do Conselho Estadual de Educação..
