La Confederación Sudamericana de Voleibol es una asociación sin fines de lucro al servicio de la comunidad deportiva y del desarrollo del voleibol en el continente Sudamericano que se encarga del control, promoción y organización de competencias internacionales de voleibol, cursos, conferencias y otras actividades deportivas de carácter educativo.

La CSV está afiliada a Federación Internacional de Voleibol (FIVB) y tiene como presidente, desde 2012, al Dr.
Rafael Lloreda Currea, de Colombia.

- Favorecer el incremento de la práctica del voleibol en el Continente Sudamericano.

- Organizar y supervisar la práctica del voleibol en el continente sudamericano, propendiendo a alcanzar él más alto nivel técnico.
