A Escola de Ensino Fundamental Vida, foi inaugurada em 05 de Março de 1996 com o nome de Escola Infantil Vida e obteve sua autorização de funcionamento pelo Conselho Estadual de Educação em Dezembro/1996, pelo Parecer 1419/96..

Dirigida pelas professoras Maria José Faraco Rodrigues e Diná Araujo Vaucher, a escola começou com 6 turmas de Educação Infantil (96 alunos) e no final do ano recebeu autorização para a implantação gradativa do Ensino Fundamental.
Em 1997 (104 alunos), além das turmas de Educação Infantil foi implantada a 1ª série, em 98 (106 alunos) a 2ª série, em 1999 (120 alunos) a 3ª série e em 2000 a 4ª série (121 alunos)..
