Une exposition de l'oeuvre conceptuelle de Ben Kinmont, pensée et conçue par les étudiantes.
L’œuvre conceptuelle de Ben Kinmont fera l’objet d’une exposition pensée et conçue par les étudiantes du MAE 2015-2016.
Il s’agira de présenter une sélection des œuvres de Ben Kinmont dans l’espace de la galerie.
Cette exposition sera l’occasion de proposer une scénographie spécifique afin d’accueillir un travail conceptuel et éditorial.
Elle sera élaborée d’après les préoccupations et pratiques de l’artiste : une démarche sociale de l’art, les alternatives économiques de l’exposition, la gastronomie, les relations directes entre l’artiste et le spectateur ou encore le regard actuel sur le livre ancien.

L’exposition pourra comporter divers objets allant de l’archive au document de projets curatoriaux, des éditions, des installations, sculptures ou photographies.
Il ne s’agira pas de réactiver une exposition déjà présentée mais bien de réaliser une exposition inédite du travail de l’artiste américain pour la première fois en Bretagne.
Cet évènement pourra ainsi contribuer à la connaissance de son travail dans le cadre d’une formation curatoriale professionnelle.
