Detailed description is Built 130 years ago, the Traralgon Court House has been virtually empty for 20 years.
It's time this iconic building was an active community space.
The Traralgon Couse was built in 1886 and operated as a Court House for over a century.
Heritage listed the building cease to operate as a Court House in the mid 1990"s .
For the past 20 years it has been neglected and virtually dormant used only intermittently for random events.
The Friends of the Court House are working to change that.
Our plan is to have this iconic building restored as vibrant central meeting place for our community.
We are committed to working with the Council, the State Government and our community to bring our heritage alive and open this wonderful piece of our history to regular public use..
