GRUFC have been participating in the Central Queensland Rugby competition for over 25 years.
Winning one 1st XV premiership in 2006 and consistantly making the final.
Since the inception we have always had a well regarded mens teams, over the years we have had womens, under 19's, school boys from U/12's through to U/18's, sevens rugby and have had successfull junior football programs.
In 2014 we with the support of the QRU have a development program to bring junior rugby back to full strength in Gladstone..

As previously we have a 1st XV mens side who play in the Bramans Rugby A Grade competition, participants are always welcom to training held at 600pm Tuesday and Thursday nights at the Meteors Sports Field on Glenlyon Road.
Home games are held there on Saturdays (please see the draw for exact date) with a licenced bar and BBQ with spectators warmly welcomed..
