On 500th birth anniversary of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji.
Many celebrations were being done and a meeting was held on 23rd Nov.
1969 to open Guru Nanak Model School.

Baldev Singh acted as Secretary.

Rattan Singh Sandhu, Capt.
Gurucharn Singh & Giani Mehar Singh formed Guru Nanak Sewa Society.
In the foundation of this school Late Giani Gurdev Singh (Incharge Sikh Mission Haryana and Himachal) contributed a lot and his contribution is really unforgettable.
In 1973 Local Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee gaini a plot for 99 years.

1973 School was started.

1977 Health Minister Kamla Verma praised our children for their participation in fancy dress competition on 10th Dec.
1978 Annual function of Guru Nanak Sr.
Model School was held and Haryana Governor S.
Harcharan Singh Brar was the chief guest.
In 1981 our fifth class student Manpreet Soni topped the district in 5th class scholarship exam.
Guru Nanak Sr.
Model School was changed to Guru Nanak Vidya Bhavan and on 1st April 1982 we got permanent recognition.
Our magazine “Nanak Gandha's” first issue was published on 16th Nov.

On this day Haryana Education Minister Sh.
Khursheed Ahmed Khan presided over the function and encouraged students and teachers.
In 1987 Haryana Vidhan Sabha Speaker S.
Harmohinder Singh Chatha graced the foundation Day of the school and we feel proud that he is very much attached with school and he has done a lot for this school..

It was decided on 15th March 1989 to start +1 sci.
From july and on 16th july 1989 it was started.
On 6th july 1990 – 40 students were admitted in +1 sci.
24th Nov.
1991 was a black day in the history of this school because at 7:15 pm founder principal S.
Gurucharan Singh left the whole city in tears as he left for his heavenly abode.
He was a godly personality and he raised the school from Primary to middle and then Sen.
Sec.
He worked from morning till night for the welfare of this institution and his name is written in golden words.
On Sep.
1993 State Award was conferred to him posthumously.It was decided to promote Mrs.
Paramjeet Kaur a senior teacher as principal.
Our student Deepika Aggarwal was honoured for getting 1st position in Haryana in +2 Arts.
Perminder Kaur also brought levels by getting 1st position among girls in Non Medical group.
Mohit was honoured for getting 100% marks in Punjabi.
On 2nd March 2003 our founder manager who served the institution with enthusiasm passed away.
He worked a Lot for the betterment of this institution.

Manjeet Singh worked as manager from 3rd April 2003 to 25th Nov.
2005 and he is still working as an active member.
In 2007 our science student Garima Kalia got 2nd position in Biology in Haryana and national council gave her a prize of Rs.
1500/- on 11th Feb.

Gurcharn Singh Aneja who had previously worked as secretary was elected manager of the school and he has working with great zeal and enthusiasm till date.
Mrs Paramjeet kaur was releaved on 2nd oct 2008.On 15th Nov.
2008 management decided to appoint S.
Mukhtiar Singh, a senior teacher as principal and he is working actively..
