Detailed description is Local Wanaka boy Ben Casey (aged 3¾) lost his eye with cancer in November 2012, your support will help with his ongoing medical costs.
Local Wanaka boy Ben Casey is 3¾ and had a malignant tumor in his eye develop last year.
This was removed within days due to it’s high level of aggression and he now has a prosthetic eye.
This will have to be changed frequently as he grows – numerous times each year.
Ben has ongoing tests to monitor that the cancer hasn’t spread, plus scans and blood tests.
Ben has been so so brave, but it has taken its toll on this wee fella – he is now too scared to sleep in bed on his own.
The family is determined to stick it out on their own, and have done up until now, but they can’t keep this up.
