O Hospital Santa Marta (HSM) foi inaugurado em 1º de julho de 1986, com 18 leitos materno-infantis, sediados em 1.350 m².
Em 2008, já hospital geral com 100 leitos, decidiu crescer mais.
Iniciou então sua expansão física e concebeu seu primeiro planejamento estratégico, centrado na gestão pela qualidade e segurança do paciente e norteado pela governança corporativa que, inicialmente, trouxe a profissionalização da gestão.

Em 2012, o sonho tornou-se realidade: a nova face do HSM, apresentada à Brasília, tinha 20 mil m² de área construída, 170 leitos ativos, sendo 55 de terapia intensiva (geral, coronariana e neonatal), um novo centro clínico e um pronto-socorro bastante diferenciado.
Em 2013, a instituição conquista a acreditação plena, nível II, pela Organização Nacional de Acreditação (ONA); em 2016, o Hospital conquistou a acreditação com excelência, nível III, também pela ONA: resultante da visão empreendedora dos sócios e de um time de campeões que faz da excelência, seu ideal e busca permanentes.
