Detailed description is Freelance Photographer My name is Lona Logan and I have been a resident and guest of Hyderabad for the last ten years.
Originally from Australia, the interest in Photography has always been a part of me, but the experience of living life in Hyderabad and India in general , has awakened my senses to a new approach in how I take pictures India has been an incredible journey in all aspects and has opened my eyes to ‘Life”.
There is beauty in everything, the simple, the mundane, the ordinary, sometimes we just have to open our eyes a little wider to see it..
Everyday I observe and feel something new, which adds to my Fieldtrip of LIfe.
I just didnt want to be another foreigner taking the same usual pictures, but to understand and perhaps capture life here in a different way, Sometimes I get the pictures, sometimes I don't, part of the process.
I have learnt so much about life and myself through my photography.
It has allowed me to venture into a world given permission by the wonderful and gracious people of India..
I have termed the words, Yeh Mera Bharat (This is My India) to describe my photography and experiences here in this country.
I named my two solo shows at Novotel Airport Hotel Shamshabad, Hyderabad on this theme.
