Detailed description is ঝিনাইদহ সরকারি উচ্চ বিদ্যালয়ের গোড়াপত্তনের সঠিক ইতিহাস আমাদের অজানা। স্থানীয় প্রধান ব্যক্তিদের নিকট থেকে এবং পুরাতন নথি থেকে যে সকল তথ্য পাওয়া গেছে তার উপর ভিত্তি করে বিদ্যালয়ের ইতিহাস বর্ণিত হলো। ১৮৭৭ সালে শহর সংলগ্ন নবগঙ্গা নদীর ধারে প্রথম ঝিনাইদহ হাই ইংলিশ স্কুল নামে প্রতিষ্ঠিত হয়। ১৯৬০ সাল পর্যন্ত বিদ্যালয়টি নবগঙ্গা নদীর ধারে অবস্থিত ছিল। ১৯৬১ সালের দিকে ছাত্র সংখ্যা বেড়ে যাওয়ায় বিদ্যালয়টির স্থান পরিবর্তনের প্রয়োজন দেখা দেয়। জনাব মোঃ আব্দুল কাদের জোয়ারদার বর্তমান বিদ্যালয়ের জমি দান করেন। ১৯৬৮ সালের ১৫ জুন থেকে কোলকাতা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের অধীনে প্রথম সরকারিভাবে যাত্রা শুরু করে। Jhenaidah Govt High School , ঝিনাইদহ সরকারি উচ্চ বিদ্যালয় । is a private schoool located in , jinaidaha of khulna,bangladesh.
