Detailed description is O seu Jornal Em dezembro de 1999, idealizamos um jornal, que viesse preencher a lacuna existente em Carpina e na Região Mata Norte.
A necessidade de termos um órgão de imprensa escrito na nossa região, era urgente.
Convidei de imediato dois nomes do jornalismo pernambucano, para compor a equipe do Jornal, que denominamos de Voz do Planalto.
Nathan Lucas (in-memoria), e Denis Araújo, deram o ponta-pé inicial juntamente comigo, para o lançamento da primeira edição, que aconteceu no dia 2 de janeiro de 2000.
Começamos num formato tablóide, com uma tiragem de dois mil exemplares, distribuindo apenas em cinco cidades: Carpina, Lagoa do Carro, Nazaré da Mata, Lagoa de Itaenga e paudalho..

Passados 17 ANOS, hoje, o VP atinge 34 municípios da Zona da Mata e Agreste de Pernambuco, além do Recife e cidades da região metropolitana.
