Detailed description is লালমনিরহাট টেকনিক্যাল স্কুল এন্ড কলেজ গণপ্রজাতন্ত্রী বাংলাদেশ সরকারের শিক্ষা মন্ত্রণালয়ের অধীনে কারিগরি শিক্ষা অধিদপ্তরাধীন প্রতিষ্ঠান। এটি লালমনিরহাট শহরের প্রাণকেন্দ্র মিশন মোড়ের সন্নিকটে (ভোকেশনাল মোড়) ২,৭৫ একর জমিতে ১টি প্রশাসনিক ভবন, ৩তলা বিল্ডিংসহ ৩টি একাডেমিক ভবন, ৪টি ওয়ার্কশপ, ১টি মেইন স্টোর এবং ৬টি আবাসিক ভবন নিয়ে জেলার একমাত্র সরকারি কারিগরি এ প্রতিষ্ঠানটি লালমনিরহাট ভোকেশনাল ট্রেনিং ইন্সটিটিউট (ভিটিআই) নামে ২টি ট্রেড/বিভাগে ১৯৭৮ সাল থেকে ১৯৯৪ পর্যন্ত ১ বছর মেয়াদী কারিগরি ও বৃত্তিমুলক শিক্ষা দিয়ে আসছিল। পরবর্তীতে আরও ২টি ট্রেড/বিভাগ বৃদ্ধি করে ১৯৯৫ সাল থেকে সাধারণ শিক্ষার সমমানের এসএসসি (ভোকেশনাল) শিক্ষাক্রম চালু করা হয়। এরই ধারাবাহিকতায় এইচএসসি (ভোকেশনাল) শিক্ষাক্রমও চালু করা হয়। ২০০৪ সালে সরকার এ প্রতিষ্ঠানটিকে লালমনিরহাট টেকনিক্যাল স্কুল এন্ড কলেজ (টিএসসি) এ উন্নীত করে। মাননীয় প্রধানমন্ত্রীর 2021 মিশন সফল করতে এবং ২০২০ সালের মধ্যে কারিগরি শিক্ষা ২০% এ উন্নীত করার লক্ষে ২০১৬-২০১৭ শিক্ষাবর্ষ থেকে লালমনিরহাট টেকনিক্যাল স্কুল এন্ড কলেজ (টিএসসি) এ ডিপ্লোমা ইন ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং এ ইলাকট্রিক্যাল ডিপাটমেন্ট চালু করা হয়েছে।.
