Even after she graduated with a degree in economics and found a job at an airline, she just couldn't sit still.
While she was sitting at her desk, her mind would wander.....
she would remember summers in Goa and the first time she held a scissors in her hand and cut hair at a local beauty parlour..

So this young lady decided to train in hair styling with Nalini of Nalini & Yasmin - one of the oldest and most reputed hair salons in Mumbai.
She loved it.
She created beauty, she met interesting people, she heard great stories, she wrote articles for PR.
She also shared her learning with students at the salon's academy.
She loved it all..
.
After a few years, working in Mumbai no longer fit.
There were new horizons to explore.
She hopped on a plane to Los Angeles and trained at the Sassoon Academy.
There, not only did she she go to school, but she also worked and played alongside photographers, musicians, artists and the best international stylists.
In the land of Hollywood she hung out on sets and at music video shoots and bumped into people from all over the planet..

Eventually, our sassy scissor hand was ready to test her new found skills on home turf.
She began to assist Elton Fernandez, one of India's most talented and fun makeup artists.
Working alongside him, her work was featured in commercials, editorials, bridals and film.
And of course she found time to explore another new city.
Her next stop was in Bangalore where she spent 3 years setting up and managing salons for two reputed salon brands- Bounce and Bblunt..

Today, ten years after she started to carry her scissors with her everywhere, our super stylist has decided to return to Goa where it all began and open her own Li'l Red Door: Hair Make-Up and More..
