Desde então, a comunidade passou a acompanhar e a reinserir milhares pessoas na vida da Igreja através do carisma “Acolhida Amorosa Como Fonte de Restauração”.
Por meio do trabalho de evangelização, muitos membros voltaram a participar das atividades paroquiais e foram despertados para a busca dos sacramentos, como matrimônio e batismo..

Até o ano de 2010, todas as atividades eram realizadas na sede, atendendo até 1.200 fieis.
A partir de 2011, devido ao grande fluxo de pessoas, houve a necessidade de, além da sede, ser utilizado um novo espaço, mais amplo e confortável, chamado Arena Mundo Novo, localizado na Paróquia Santo Antônio de Venda Nova.

O Mundo Novo tem proporcionado também a restauração da vida de centenas de jovens envolvidos com drogas, através do projeto “Mundo Novo Sem Drogas” que encaminha dependentes químicos ao tratamento e os orienta na reinserção na sociedade.
Ainda dentro do espírito missionário, o Mundo Novo tem formado equipes de assistência social que já atuaram na Colônia Santa Isabel junto aos hansenianos, em hospitais, asilos e abrigos.
Também prestamos assistência aos detentos do sistema prisional e aos internos das Comunidades Terapêuticas em todo o estado..
