Detailed description is Holiday rental at Congo on the NSW South Coast The holiday feel is immediate - the ocean views, the sea breeze, the bird sounds create a wonderful relaxed ambience in this small community.
Previously the Congo Fire Shed, the property has been tastefully renovated into a modern, open plan two and a half bedroom home.
The house is furnished with bright and fun retro furnishings, sourced from second hand shops and garage sales and lovingly restored.
The beach is an easy two-minute stroll away, and a bench at the top of the property allows you to enjoy views south across Congo beach with Montague Island in the distance.
The bench is perfect for whale watching, morning coffee or an evening glass of wine.

Downstairs is the bathroom, open plan living/kitchen and dining area and a small bedroom.
Upstairs is the main bedroom and second bedroom.
The bed configuration is one queen and a single bed in each of the other two rooms.
There is an option of a day bed in the lounge area to make sleeping arrangements for 5 people.
Throughout the home is artwork by renowned local artist Brett Martin.

The large covered verandah is ideal for casual outdoor meals - enjoy use of the full size gas BBQ while taking in the sea and mountains views to the north.

The park provides fantastic opportunities for walking, mountain biking and running.
The southern end of Congo beach takes in the Batemans Marine Park, with excellent snorkelling and fishing.
A renowned surfing location, Congo also has a sheltered and safe swimming beach.
