　奇異的天山白玉來源於：中山日報畫刊2006年12月1日第6期81版石之美者為玉。緬甸的翡翠、新疆的和田白玉，常為人們津津樂道。然而，大千世界無奇不有。這里為讀者介紹一種迄今尚未見諸報導的新的玉種，僅供同好參考。同時，藏友或有珍稀的心頭好，歡迎與本刊編輯部聯繫。——編者敬告：本文版權歸中山網所有，轉載時請註明出處，必須保留網站名稱、網址、作者等信息，不得隨意刪改文章任何內容，我社將保留法律追究權利。多玉界的朋友都曾問我，“你一定是弄錯了，新疆所產白玉，不就是只在和闐（即現今和田）。”和田白玉，尤其那頂級的羊脂白玉聞名海外。所以現今市場價值高得令人咋舌，這已是無人不知無人不曉，而且也從未聽過新疆天山有白玉出產。剛剛才說新疆白玉也有產於天山，這沒錯，因為我所介紹給大家的正是產於新疆天山雪山上的一種奇特的白玉。這種天山白玉，外型有球狀、塊狀，表面上有風化皮層，最大也不會超過一小孩的拳頭。其內裹玉質，潔白而純正，細膩潤澤，色調柔和，其硬度比和田白玉還高。這玉種最大的分別和獨特之處就是純正玉心被一層透明的皮層所包裹著（即玉璞）。原石除去氧化層後經過打磨拋光處理，那猶如玻璃質的皮層會顯現出非常亮麗的光澤，純正潔白玉質包裹其中。經光線接觸便會散發出泛泛的的金光，玉中之美，確實無以倫比，惹人鍾愛。即便拿和田脂白玉相比，也可說是平分春色，各有千秋。我是如何碰上了這奇特的白玉呢？記起在1995年一次新疆天山之旅，巧遇到當時任職地質礦產局第六地質大隊地質物探工程師趙大椿先生，這些石頭都是他每年某時段到天山雪山上探礦所收集下來的。經他描述，只有在那些溶解了冰雪，裸露的礦體才可找到，而且極其稀少，山上的環境也非一般人能忍受。這種奇特的白玉存在著三種形態，就是山料石、水料石和子子石（即子石中的子石的意思）。質量最突出的是子子石，也就是前述有玻璃層質那種。這點它和和田白玉的產出是極其相近的，其中最大可能是受特定氣候環境的改變而形成，只是礦物組成成分不同而已。既然大家談得投契，也基於好奇心之下，我便當下收購了他的石頭。回來後，希望查明白這些“天山白玉”的真偽。經友人介紹到了中山大學環球地質檢測中心檢驗。一星期後，檢測結果確定百分之百為“玉”的成分，具備了玉的特質和所有條件。那個做檢測的教授還對我們說，白玉檢測他做過無數次，接觸到的白玉不勝其數，就惟獨此白玉，玉質之美，純淨和結構之獨特，在他數十年地質檢測中，還是第一次所見和接觸。而從科學角度上，報告內容是這樣的：礦物成分：由鉀微斜長石，蛋白石，少量黃鐵礦、鈉閃石，鈦及礦物組成；礦物名稱：鉀長石板岩；產狀：球狀，塊狀；構造：隱晶結構，粒度微細，鑲嵌緊密；硬度：7.5--8°；比重：2.65—2.80；產地：新疆哈密市以東，天山山麓以南的雪山上；光澤度：玻璃光澤，拋光性能好，質地細膩，切面純正，潔白；其他特點：有的白玉在灰綠的基底上，由於浸染狀黃鐵礦斑點或細脈的點綴可出現絢麗的“金星”效應，但十分稀少。因玉色多為潔白、瓷白，稱為白玉。中華民族自古以來就是一個愛玉惜玉的民族，有關玉的美麗傳說也有很多。天山白玉如此精美，以我的眼光來看，本該一早能獲得廣大收藏愛好者的青睞才是，但可惜的是其產量極其稀少，能看見和接觸的人確實有限，市場價值更無從考究。能收藏到如此珍惜的天山白玉，我一直引以為是我收藏歷史上的幸事。　.
